NEXT MEETING

On Wednesday, January 8th at 8am, at the Ramada Hotel in Emerald Park, we welcome fellow WCEPBA members from the RBC. They will be presenting about RBC’s “Beyond Banking” program.

RBC Insight Edge is a dashboard that delivers relevant, actionable insights to business clients. It comprises aggregated RBC credit card and debit card transactional data, enhanced with third party data to capture spending patterns, population democratic and commercial activity for any neighborhood in Canada. Having access to insights through this tool allows our business clients make more informed and strategic decision to grow their business. This program benefits clients who accept payment for their goods/services via credit/debit card, think about expansion, look for ways to better connect with existing customers and new customers, consider a change to their products/service, or explore targeting marketing campaigns.

GrantMatch is an industry leader in helping businesses secure government funding (federal, provincial, regional, and state grants) through its innovative, proprietary grants and incentives platforms, which uses big data to make program matches. This collaboration can benefit business owners who would like to access customized and continually updated grant matches related to their business, are unsure/unaware of the funding programs available to support their business, seek funding for upcoming projects, or want to establish a proactive funding strategy to support their long-term growth.

The Objective of the White City | Emerald Park Business Association is to promote and improve trade and commerce and the economic, civil, and social welfare of the district.

The association is open to local businesses and owners who live in this area.  To become a member, fill out a Membership Application and bring it along to the next breakfast meeting to enjoy the benefits (letter).  Meetings are open to everyone in the business community in the greater Emerald Park, North Service Road, White City area.  If you do business in the area, we would love to see you.

Breakfast meetings are held at 8 a.m. on the second Wednesday of each month from January through June and from September through December at the Ramada, Emerald Park.  Not a member?  Your first meeting is on us!

As I've also found out, it is a great way to connect local business people - community members that you  may seldom otherwise get to meet with.  I strongly encourage business community members to attend as our organization is a great example of different communities working together for the success of all of us!
